1st STOP: PLAYA DE TUFIA 🏖️

About 30 minutes south of Las Palmas lies Tufia, a tiny hidden fishing village with white houses, turquoise water, and a relaxed local vibe.

Bring your snorkel! The water here is crystal-clear and full of colourful fish. Hungry? Look for seafood restaurants in and around Tufia for some fresh fish.

2nd STOP: AGÜIMES 🏔️

Our next stop is Agüimes; a beautiful, colorful village with narrow streets and chilled café vibes. After a quick stroll through town, head to the stunning Barranco de las Vacas canyon (You might have to park your car on the side of the road).

It looks like a mini version of the Antelope Canyon only smaller and way less crowded!

Tip: Go early morning or late afternoon for the best light and fewer people. Wear proper shoes since the path is short but rocky!

3rd STOP: MASPALOMAS 🌵

You can’t say you’ve been to Gran Canaria without seeing the Maspalomas Dunes! Golden sand as far as the eye can see. It’s literally a desert by the sea! Make sure to not walk on the dunes and help protect this area.

Don’t forget sunscreen (seriously, you’ll thank us later!). And if you’re thirsty, the many beach bars are perfect for a cold beer or a Tinto de Verano.

4th STOP: PUERTO DE MOGAN 🌅

Finish your roadtrip with a dreamy sunset in Puerto de Mogán, the “Little Venice” of Gran Canaria. Wander through its flower-filled streets, cross the cute bridges, and enjoy the colorful harbor at golden hour.

Grab an ice cream at Gelatomania and after the sun sets make your way back to the Hostel!
